The UK’s largest dedicated asbestos safety management conference for industry professionals, Asbestos: the Truth, will take place on 2 November at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham.

Hosted by Lucion Services, and now in its 7th year, Asbestos the Truth has the most comprehensive showcase of seminars and workshops in the asbestos industry. The event connects industry peers while offering the chance to hear about changes to legislation and discover new solutions to effectively manage asbestos in the workplace.

The official Call for Papers as well as ‘Early Bird’ delegate tickets have now started. Interested speakers are invited to suggest any asbestos themed papers they would like to present at the conference.

This year, the event will have the following themes:

  • asbestos in soil and contaminated land new guidance update.
  • developments in techniques and equipment used by the asbestos and occupational risk management industry.
  • shared experiences and case studies of effectively managing asbestos in a property portfolio.

Delegates span from procurement professionals and facilities managers in local authorities to project managers in the infrastructure sector. The conference is an excellent platform for businesses representing the entire spectrum of asbestos related industries.
