Saniflo helps create new facilities for The University of London

Posted by Stephanie Broad | July 17, 2015 | Supplier News

Using a combination of 12 Sanicubic Pro macerating pumps for high performance in areas where continuity of service is critical, plus a number of Sanispeed pumps and Sanibest macerating units, The City of London University has converted a semi-basement into additional science laboratories, accommodation and washroom facilities with WCs, showers and basins.

Saniflo pumping stations were specified for all the waste discharge. The quiet macerating pumps service an area, totalling over 0.5 miles.

According to Colin Fiddler of Aveat Heating in Essex, the specification of Saniflo macerators and pumps saved the University a lot of time and money by avoiding the need to install new drainage pipes.

The whole job is on course to be finished for the next intake of students who will benefit from new facilities to aid their studies.
