Gearing up for Nextgen 2014

Nextgen 2014, the key business platform for bioenergy and renewables sectors, takes place on October 8-9

Schools up and down the country are experiencing mounting pressure to reduce their carbon emissions, while at the same time having to manage ever-growing energy bills.

Academies, independent and state schools, particularly in rural areas, are increasingly responding to this trend by investing in sustainable energy solutions such as biomass systems, where they can take advantage of either current government installation grants or the non-domestic Renewal Heat Incentive scheme (RHI).

With biomass being some 60% cheaper than oil and its systems requiring around 70% less fuel, schools that invest in biomass systems are benefiting hugely – meeting their carbon emissions targets, reducing fuel costs and cutting their technology life-cycle costs. They are also able, should they qualify for non-domestic RHI, to generate an alternative source of income.

You can ensure that you fully understand the benefits of renewable energy, and how to implement these alternative technologies at your school or educational institution. Nextgen, incorporating ebec, is the UK’s leading bioenergy and renewable energy generation event for both urban and rural communities. The Nextgen 2014 event will take place on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 October at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

This two-day business, networking and CPD-accredited education event is designed to give managers, planners and investors of bioenergy and renewable energy projects a deep insight into the opportunities, pitfalls and challenges around managing these complex technology systems, as well as guidance in delivering new and more stringent carbon-reduction and energy-consumption targets.

Whether you are at the conceptual, planning, delivery or operational phase of your next project, register now for Nextgen 2014 and harvest the expertise of over 175 suppliers within this major exhibition. Registration is free.
