Prime spot for Leicester post-grads

Primus Place will offer new accommodation just for postgraduates, with 150 large studio apartments

Arranged over seven floors, with private kitchen and en suite bathrooms, the new accommodation includes public open spaces and 24-hour reception desk.

The development, owned by Primus Property Developments and marketed by global real estate agency EH International, is 800m from Leicester University and due for completion in August 2015.

EH International Client Relations Manager Patrick Boyce commented: 'With two world class universities and more than 38,000 students, Leicester is still experiencing a significant growth in student numbers. To cater to this influx, the city has focused on providing more accommodation in central locations. However this has been mainly aimed at undergraduates.

'In the postgraduate sector, students tend to be more independent and focused on study and therefore are willing to splash more cash on high-quality, purpose built accommodation. Such is the demand for accommodation within Primus Place that we are able to offer investors assured 8% yields for the next five years.”
