The building of a new sports facility for Loughborough Schools Foundation - a charitable foundation comprising four independent schools, plus a nursery – has begun. Stepnell commenced work earlier this summer on the £3.5 million project, which will feature a sports hall, fitness suite, dance studio, changing rooms and reception area.
The centre – set to be used primarily by pupils from Loughborough High School and Loughborough Amherst School – is due to open in Spring 2019.
Stepnell regional director, Thomas Sewell, said: “This stunning facility will give the Foundation’s pupils access to a modern, superbly-equipped environment where they will be able to play sport, learn new skills and enjoy being active.”
